USA isn’t a bad country. The main problem is the corrupted leaders that are in power.

I think no one will ever help the US again. Until they mussolini Donald Dump.

Trump is a scumbag. Sometimes, you give because it’s the right thing to do. Not because you get something in return.

Investing in Ukraine’s defense is a good business decision, it gives America another trading partner and weakens a foe.

But Trump is an idiot that has bankrupted all of his businesses. Trump is a russian agent.

And half of America are also morons.

I see it like lend lease. It appeases those in power and the balance owed can be forgiven by a future administration. Trump is not staying in power past four years, if he even makes it that long. The important thing is to get the aid and make this war so painful for them that popular opinion of the war shifts there dramatically, and Russia is forced to realize the cost are not worth the gains.

    5. To this day 9/11 is the only event when the nato got fully involved and helped USA.

My sympathies and dollars with Ukraine. I have donated and will keep donating until you win.

As an American, I hope you all understand we as a country are sick with an infection. An infection that Ukraine fought against during Maidan. It’s corporate fascism enabling an almost dictator under the guise of patriotism. Helped along by our mutual enemy Putin.

Myself and many of my friends are aware of it and voted against it. But many more have been fooled. We are going through a political fever and delirium . I hope when it’s all done and the fever breaks , we will recover our literal senses and democracy. Then we can do what’s right and give you full support as a country as it always should have been.

I understand this event was the only time a NATO country (USA) invoked article 5. As stated no repayment, in any form, was ever requested.

    8. Icommentwhenhigh on

USA is the only country to invoke article 5 of NATO collective defence.

They’re a fucking disgrace went from loving freedom to loving the boot they have the government they deserve the united states as we knew it is dead.

I mean, if Trump retrospectively asks for a refund of what has been given during Biden’s term, it is totally normal if these 90 countries –including whole of NATO and Ukraine– retrospectively ask for a refund for what has been given during Bush’s and Obama’s terms.

I’m kinda wishing we did now that we have seen how Americans are treating us and other allies/friends.

    13. Delta-Fox-1 on

We should now! 🤬 We should ask a full refund WITH interest!

While that’s true, plenty of countries received political and military/civilian aid as well as intelligence sharing. I’m not defending it by any means, I think it’s pretty awful….but the idea that the US didn’t provide anything of value in exchange for support isn’t correct.

Americans at war with Afganistan or Iraq and foreign soldiers dying for US to get richer…

      Accounting Dept. ?
      – Send the bill to White House. And tell them to say “thank you” 32 times while wearing proper clothes: they wear the same dark suit every day. Don’t they know about laundries ?
