AFAIK they’re mechanically propelled vehicles and not e-bikes anymore. You’re also unlikely to find any of these that actually comply with the requirements for frame numbers, so you probably won’t be getting insurance for them.

What a Goon, he doesn’t even know what hes talking about. A 1,000 watt pedal assisted e-bike does not need insurance.

I don’t have an e-bike, why would I need to get insurance?

That’s wrong – L1e-A class are defined as MPVs but don’t require insurance and can be up to 1000W.
