They still are bar the branding. Supervalu stores are divided into two groups, the owner run franchises like Rush’s or Pettits. And then the MOPI stores, which are centrally run and are the former superquinn stores

Their stores looked and smelled different than what we have today.
I loved their Thrift and then later their Euro Shopper brands. Some great value to be had.
