      Why did you think it was interesting to post it here except for boasting about our nuclear capabilities? It has been discussed countless times here. Also one ICBM from Moscow could destroy Paris and it’s why it’s essential but also called nuclear deterrence.

      By the time the nuke reaches Moskow, 5000 nuclear missiles will reach the entire world. OP clearly has no clue about the consequences of such stupid acts, hence, why Russia didn’t nuked Ukraine already.

      Isn’t that the case with most nuclear missiles. 1 missiles tends to destroy a city lol. It seems strange and not really news worthy beyond Le terrible name (lol, I’m sorry for the pun).

      my opinion on this is we shouldn’t do that. We shouldn’t nuke them or launch stuff at Moscow because we will pay for it they will nuke us to bits it’s really not worth it

      kinda stupid. the submarine isn’t a missile. it’s a submarine. it was built in 2008. it’s already outdated. it carries 16 M45 or M51 missiles with six to ten TN 75 150 kt or TNO 100-300 kt thermonuclear warheads.
      each warhead is enough to destroy moscow.
      but it wouldn’t. moscow is the most heavily defended city against ICBM’s in the world. it would have to fire all the missiles for one warhead to have a chance to hit.
      also russia has over 5000 nukes and a very large territory and more ballistic missile submarines than the entire europe combined. france has only about 300.

      things are not as simple as they seem.

      Well.. the french are, maybe it would look better if you didn’t add “le” in front of the name when naming things.

      I mean, I don’t want to belittle a very powerful nuclear weapon, but “le” looks a bit… how should I put it… cute?
      Idk, maybe it just seems that way to me.

      A SSBN is probably one of the most technically complex thing to build.
      An underwater missile launcher capable of carrying up to 16 nuclear missiles.
      It can stay underwater for three months straight without surfacing, thanks to a nuclear reactor.
      It also needs to be completely undetectable, and still be able to communicate with the outside world..

      When you think about it that’s not just engineering, that’s solving the impossible.

      I fucking hated france, like literally viewing them as surrender monkeys unironically.

      But damn has my view on them changed in the last 3 years. And what have they showed us their true colors in Europe in the last few years (in a positive sense).
