Denmark’s earlier coastal missile batteries were Harpoon, but they donated those systems to Ukraine where they’re now part of the series of capabilities that denies Russia access to the Ukrainian coast. They now look set to revive the capability using [Naval Strike Missiles](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Naval_Strike_Missile) joining a very long list of operators of that Norwegian missile (which must be pretty high on the list of most successful arms exports ever by now…)

Denmark’s position allows them to deny Russian Baltic Fleet units access to the North Sea and Atlantic, and coastal missile batteries like this are now proven to be so effective that they probably are the cheapest and best route to achieving that goal.

The modern world has always been a very dangerous place, but now you need to worry about America too. Thank you Trump.

I say its better to do it just in case than to have to attempt to activate them under fire
