Great, the new US diplomatic doctrine: If you can’t beat them, give them a piece of land and call it ‘peace’. I look forward to the agreement to sell Alaska to China in exchange for ‘stability in the Pacific’.

It’s sort of interesting to see the US giving Russia things that even China, their “no limits” friend, isn’t giving them. Including votes at the UN. It smells like subservience, doesn’t it?

Luhansk, Donnets and Crimea are gone gone, what we need to do is secure is Zapo and Kherson incl the dam and the nuclear power plant plus deny Russia a land bridge and the water canal.

That way Russia will always behave in order for transport, electricity and fresh water access to otherwise worthless Crimea(the bridge is insufficient and fresh water is a huge problem).

I know people don’t want to hear that but it’s the most we can hope for and Ukraine will still be a huge country with water access on two sides of Crimea and the river is all theirs.

That’s the compromise, it means Russia will have to retreat from an area the size of England.

And then the USA will give nuclear weapons back? Why should this time’s USA promises be better than any other time? Americans are liars and not worth trusting.

Not just Crimea. According to Steve Witkoff – another billionaire real estate criminal in Trump’s administration – Donetsk, Luhansk, Zaporizhzhia and Kherson should all be part of Russia, too.

      > “They’re Russian-speaking,” Witkoff said of the four eastern regions. “There have been referendums where the overwhelming majority of the people have indicated that [they want to be under Russian rule](https://edition.cnn.com/2025/03/22/europe/witkoff-carlson-trump-russia-ukraine-talks-intl/index.html).”

The [Trump](https://ichef.bbci.co.uk/ace/standard/1024/cpsprodpb/32aa/live/e4ffd900-1ae9-11f0-8a1e-3ff815141b98.jpg) administration sides with Putin.

The americans has become very generous in negotiations over territories that do not belong to them. They should take a step back. The whole planet has witnessed their diplomatic amateurism and servility towards Putin.

Can we officially recognize Russian control of the US? Might as well

    8. They can recognise whatever they want. This will be exactly like the “gulf of america” bs

Putler is very afraid to lose the Kerch bridge to new Ukrainian capabilities (like Taurus or own new missiles). Losing it will mean huge public backlash and a major blow to logistic operations. He needs daddy Trump to step in.
