Putin will only be doing this because he sees it as being in his best interest. Is it his way of pretending he is serious about bringing the war to an end? I would expect a false flag over the weekend in which Russia has no choice but to respond to Ukraines aggression.

I think this is him trying to look good to Trump. Russia will do something and then claim it wasn’t them but Ukraine breaking the ceasefire. Then use it as proof Putin is such a nice guy and Zelensky is horrible, Russia wants peace and clearly Ukraine doesn’t and Trump and his administration will believe it and parrot it to everyone who will listen
