So, maga is sick of “babysitting” Europe, but they still want to “babysitt” Europe…They are acting like European countries can’t do anything themselves. Or, they are just afraid that European countries will stop investing in the US. They should have thought about that before they decided that shooting themselves in the foot was a splendidly good idea…
One of the proposals in the memorandum is to expand the planned Rapid Deployment Force 🇪🇺 to 60,000 soldiers. It would become a “28th Army” and then become the seed of the European Armed Forces. The state armies would then play a less and less prominent role as they slowly downgrade to national guard type units over time.
Hell yeah less nationalism and more Federalism

No EU army will ever happen to be honest. An army needs a single command, it it not going to happen in the EU.
If an EU COMMETTEE is urging something…you’d better be sure it will be a non-binding vote about the case in the next 10 years.
