Russia is a country that states “I will not do that” and still does it.
The WHOLE world KNEW Putin was LYING out his ASS, when he said it.
In any case, Putin doesn’t want to stop the war, he doesn’t say anything to hide the point.
Is that news? In which parallel universe Russia is trustworthy?
The only purpose of the truce was so that Russia could use the excuse of collecting their dead as a means to move up ammunition and weapons into caches using the collection vehicles. There are tons of reports from Ukraine about this.
So starting tomorrow Ukraine is expecting lots of new attacks by Russians. Hopefully Ukraine will have all the little Russian stashes zeroed and will destroy them.
Did anybody expect they’d abide the truce? There’s no negotiations possible. If anything, it would be to delay the inevitable.

The truce is just to Russia can claim Ukraine broke it when Ukraine returns fire. Oh and to try and get Ukraine to pause while Russia tries to sort itself out again…
Wasn’t it a one sided announced truce, ie Russia said it would pause hostilities. On the radio here in UK it feels like everyone makes it a truce Ukraine signed up to as well and are guilty of breaking.
Putin declared a truce only so he could violate it.
