Late teens so probably old enough to have a driving licence and road legal motorbike.
It’s not nice to see this happen to anyone, but the finger of blame is only pointing in one direction.

Thankfully nobody else was killed.

Well…finally happened. How’s that “hands off approach” working for them now?

Bound to happen. Anyone living in Citywest or similar areas know they’re a plague – high speeds, no protective gear, generally driven very dangerously.

RIP. It’s sad and devastating for friends and family but I doubt much will change.

Let’s not speculate on who’s at fault, the circumstances of the accident, the amount of protective gear worn, the legal ownership of the motorcycle, the number of previous convictions of both drivers… mostly because it’s hardly speculation.

The poor car driver. Hope they’re ok.

There are some really mean spirited comments in thread. This is the accidental death of a teenager we are talking about here.

Good.

The electric scramblers that they have are absolutely lethal. At least with the old ones you can hear them coming from a mile away.
They’re really popular with drug dealers

Hard truth, but the more this happens the better

This was bound to happen and the adults in the situation (obviously not the parents of these kids, who don’t seem to care about their children’s safety) are correct in pointing out that it was inevitable.
You people commenting ”good” or celebrating this teenagers death are animals though. This is a life cut short we are talking about, and a family (as at fault as they may or may not be) in mourning about it.
As a rule – just don’t celebrate death. You’re maybe noticed that the good guys in movies tend not to do that, right?

If laws aren’t enforced, incidents like this are bound to happen.

Was he rightfull owner of the mentioned scrambler or authorised by the owner to drive it? Was the thing stolen?

Suprise suprise. Parents need to know if they let their kids boot around on scramblers/quads that this could happen.
