È davvero triste che nel mio paese, i poveri siano trattati come parassiti e il governo non esprime il vero parametro. Ci sono innumerevoli case vuote in città.
I take it you haven’t experienced this yourself yet. It’s not fun to have to climb over a guy next to his needles, or have to argue with a drunk guy sleeping in your hallway. No argument that there is a housing crisis, but you are excusing one real issue with another.

I mean what is the problem here? We can all agree that it isn’t fun having a homeless dude living in your hallway with all his gear just spread around on the floor and possibly using some corner inside the garage as his personal bathroom.
Do these homeless people need help? Yes.
Do they always accept help? No.
Does someone have to deal with a homeless person living inside the hallway? No.
Sorry for shitty formatting…

Have you read the comments on that post? The government is only just as vile as the people who elect them!

Honestly, I agree with you. I understand this person’s frustration, but the lack of empathy or just compassion in the way they worded their post is really disheartening. Being in a position where homelessness is an annoyance instead of a threat is so incredibly privileged and I feel like a lot of us are becoming apathetic towards others. One wrong decision can plummet any of us into a precarious situation.
