I remember saying that Napoleon should be considered a founder of Germany in jest. My argument was that in his conquest he did re-organize his German holdings and just overall exposed the HRE as being past its relevance. I guess in a similar way Trump might be the greatest EU politician. I’ve been reading about an EU army on passing a few times or EU silicon valley ideas. Each time there is a some pragmatic reason as to why its not really worth the effort in that era’s context, but now they are more relevant. Who would Optimus Prime be without Megatron?

We don’t need American tech, euro military is already more superior than USA right now, if anything the USA is 10000 years behind our innovations and tech, idk why Ukraine is still pandering to.
