Absolute joke how these teachers a treated “Delegates heard the current system sees teachers who are victims of assault forced to exhaust their standard sick leave, resulting in financial hardship, and suffer long-term emotional and physical trauma.”

Can’t wait to see McEntee show up to the classroom with an escort of 20 guards to do a photo op.

I have the utmost respect for anyone who does this incredibly difficult and necessary job. But I don’t really know what the Minister of Education can do in this situation. She is making positive inroads on special education but she can’t control individual students behaviour.

McEntee will accept that invitation. I only hope the Olympic coaches are on hand to time it, because her power-walk through Dublin city after the riots could have qualified her for quite a few trick events.

Some special needs kids are absolutely feral. My sister works as a carer for the more severe cases and she, routinely, comes home battered and bruised.

Just shows how hilarious our system is.
Education does not suit an awful lot of people but we still force everyone through it.

I know someone who worked at a special school who quit because being groped was so common
