11 effin’ time zones worth!
ruzzia can not utilize all of the land it has. Siberia is almost empty and unused. I would not mind seeing others take chuncks of Siberia.
Come on now, Russia needs that land to stage their attacks on the rest of Europe
They have enough in the east but not in the west. Other countries are to close to Moscow in the west and they see it as a full on threat no matter how friendly you are. That’s basically it, they want more buffer zones before someone could get to their capital and they don’t give a shit how many people they need to exterminate to achieve that.
They want already-developed land rather than having to put in effort to developing their vast swathes of potentialyl productive land.
It has never been about just land for Russia. It is about stolen identity of Kyiv Rus (history and name). Read ‘Ukraine’s Total Recall’ article on the net.

Russia thinks it needs buffer zone against “hostile nations”, when in reality all neighbour nations need buffer zone against Russia.
