Trump has ended the western alliance and therefore Putin has taken a massive victory. For the entire US cold war framework to disassemble in less than 3 months is crazy, beyond Russias wildest dreams.
But this is it, Europe needs to start thudding bridges globally and getting strong trade partners. Cry traitor, puppet or whatever all you want the new reality on the ground is that Russia are still in Ukraine and NATO has had its largest contributor and source of strength removed.

Russia is trying to shift the blame onto the EU and Ukraine for the so-called “SPECIAL MILITARY OPERATION” – straight from Putin’s mouth – and Trump is buying into it, driven by his borderline insane narcissism and out of pure spite for the EU and the free world, which he and his tech billionaire clique (Elon Musk, Peter Thiel, Zucc, and the rest) see as ineffective.
The best thing the EU can do is stay calm, make some trade deals with the rest of the world and quietly arm itself just enough to erase Russia from the map, which isn’t that far-fetched, considering Russia is locked in a grinding war of attrition with Ukraine, a much smaller country with a much smaller economy.
Trump and Putin may puff their chests and boast about their power, but the reality is: one is stuck in a stalemate, and the other got publicly humiliated by a “We don’t care” attitude from China.
It’s just pathetic… That’s Trump: pathetic.
If Trump obtained some enormous concessions from Russia, commesurate with the enormity of recognizing the Crimea claim, something on the order of retreating from other ukranian regions, it would be sensible.
But seemingly, Trump wants to concede Crimea’s claim without getting anything in return from Russia, which is… not how negotiations work.
Trump destroyed the transatlantic unity, but inadvertently united europe.
