Nooo, I’ve had enough pope already
Got to see Benedict in 2007 while on honeymoon in Italy.
Were given the opportunity to vist the The Papal Palace of Castel Gandolfo.
Bit of a mad experience, but shur when in Rome I suppose……

I went to Rome for the first time last month.
I’m not religious at all but walking into a random church and seeing how steeped in history they were was one of the highlights.
Most tourists just stroll past them as they aren’t very remarkable on the outside, but holy fuck when you go in there. The paintings, tombs, statues, and decoration from 100’s of years ago is mental.
