The simple answer that will end the nonsense from Dotard Dump, and free trade with all countries except America, Israel and Russia, with payment through own currency or mutually agreed, via blockchain. Then it won’t matter what the Dotard does. ✌️

Free trade costs millions of jobs in North America as Canadian and American politicians betrayed their citizens, signed free trade agreements and outsourced Canadian and American jobs to low wage almost slave-like China particularly,Asia generally and Mexico.Politicians who signed free trade agreements should be viewd as economic traitors.Free trade, automation and computerization all costs jobs leaving people without any decent paying jobs to earn a living.

Trump’s high tariffs are an attempt to bring jobs back to the U.S. but he has made enemies of North American businesses who outsourced millions of jobs to China particularly,Asia generally and Mexico to maximize their profits by sending all the decent paying jobs offshore and avoiding high North American taxes and depositing trillions in profits in offshore banks,

Both the Liberal and Conservative Parties believe in free trade agreements which leave Canadians no party to vote for to protect their insecure jobs.

Time to eat Trump’s lunch with trade partners. Easiest swoop in and yoink of new long-term international trade positions in a long time.

After Canadian and American politicians went on an orgy in their signing numerous free trade agreements, there was nothing on the shelves of Canadian stores made in Canada.

The media has portrayed Trump for 9 years as the reincarnation of the Devil on Earth while they ignored the hard fact that he kept the U.S. out of costly and stupid wars when he is in Office and he keeps trying to bring jobs back to the U.S.

Trump talks tariffs. The EU talks trade. Guess who’s getting invited to more parties

Misleading topic, low-key media spin. The EU has never been free regarding trade. Free trade is more of a spectrum than an absolute. You can only have free trade on certain goods, but not on everything. Countries protect certain industries for economic reasons.
Secondly, regulations still apply. Even if tariffs are low, goods still have to meet health or safety standards. “Free” trade agreements aren’t fully free because they involve the rules of origin, import quotas, anti-dumping strategies and exemptions as sectors get carved out or phased in.
Lastly, domestic industries still have government subsidies which distort trade just as much as tariff would.

The EU had tariffs on American goods for a long time. Trump wanted the EU to scrap the tariffs on US goods, but he went too far.

Imagine a world where he just implimented a 10% import tax on consumer goods and called it a day.
No major market and supply chain disruptions and he would still get to tax the poorest.

That’s actually a really funny headline because the EU is notorious for its protectionism.
The EU also imposes high tariffs on non-EU agricultural products. [The stand-out sector with the highest average tariffs is the dairy sector (32.3%), followed by sugar and confectionery (27.0%), meats (19.0%) cereals and preparations (17.2%) and fruits and vegetables (13.0%)](https://capreform.eu/the-protective-effect-of-eu-agricultural-tariffs/). “And, while pushing for ever more foreign aid to Africa, the EU also imposes stiff tariffs on African agricultural imports, thus making it impossible for Africa to trade itself out of poverty.”

Free trade?
Von der Leyen’s free trade is extremely dubious.
We’ll have to stop saying that Europe is Germany and von der Leyen.

That’s actually a really funny headline because the EU is notorious for its protectionism.
A very illustrative example is the EU’s protectionist policies in agriculture through its Common Agricultural Policy (CAP). Parts of the EU stocks are exported with the use of [export subsidies](https://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/politics/eu-subsidies-deny-africa-s-farmers-of-their-livelihood-478419.html). [Many African and Asian farmers cannot keep up with cheap competition from Europe](https://innovation.journalismgrants.org/projects/the-dark-side-of-italian-tomatoes). “The EU common agriculture policy enables, if not [compels, EU farmers to dump their excess but cheap farm produce on African markets, thus forcing African farmers to sell their products at a loss or leave the market altogether.](https://www.theguardian.com/world/2016/feb/28/the-european-union-is-an-ongoing-disaster-for-africa)”
The EU also imposes high tariffs on non-EU agricultural products.
