And what are you doing about it? Definitely not the right thing in rejoining at least the single market…

misleading headline…. she said EU trading is arguably more important because they are closer geographically than trades with the US. She didn’t say trading with the EU is more important than relationship with the US…

      >”I understand why there’s so much focus on our trading relationship with the US but actually our trading relationship with Europe is arguably even more important, because they’re our nearest neighbors and trading partners,” she said.

Bringing up questions of what the Brexit thing was about. 🙄

Are there still UK politicians (apart from the obvious right-wing turds) clamouring that Brexit was/is the best thing ever?

    5. It’s more important because it’s reliable. The EU isn’t going to backstab you. The UK understands that the US will just bully them into shitty deals, and who even knows if they’ll keep their word? Maybe they’ll change their mind tomorrow. In fact, maybe the price just went up. In fact, did you even say thank you?!

Of course it is, they mostly negotiate with you in respectful methods and don’t pretend to be the most important thing in the room. Trump’ “Art of the Deal” was a flop!

There was a time when UK and French economies were neck to neck. One slightly ahead of the other. But since Brexit, UK appears to have pulled away significantly from France. The economic gap between them and France is much larger and the gap with Germany much smaller.

Won’t be surprised if they overtake Germany in the near future.
