Hungary also had a short-lived [Hungarian Soviet Republic](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hungarian_Soviet_Republic). Although somewhat less crazy and longer-lived (about a third of a year), it also had some weird policies, such as when it declared that “Women will now be Nationalized to industrialize the manufacturing of new Humans.”
It got quickly destroyed and secured Bavaria as a conservative bastion all the way into the present.
After all it’s pretty hard to argue for socialism and communism when you actually see the results firsthand.
And now there is bavaria, ruled by a conservative food influencer with a populist farmer as support that blames his brother for his own mischief. /S
Sounds like Trump white house where it’s ruled by a psychiatric felon which has not declared war on Greenland/Canada/Panama only b/c he can’t do so formally.
It’s like the resume of the ‘russia federation’.
Trump: hold my diet coke
You know who else was a psychiatric patient ? Lenin.
There wasn’t a sane person in the entire communist movement.
Sounds like the average soviet state

Actually, nothing weird for the Soviet republics. Stalin, for example, robbed banks.
I enjoy history like this. I have never heard of such German Soviet and I am interested in both the world wars. I will read now and for the next hour or so, about the mad Dr F. sth who was admitted to the clinic and his telegrams with the toilet key. Thank you, these are good posts!
Jewish Autonomous Oblast
Еврейская автономная область
This still exists. Stalin in 1928 created a Jewish landlocked homeland north of Mongolia. Most Jews left after the collapse of the USSR. There weren’t many to begin with.
fun fact: Lenin lived in Munich in 1900-1902 in Kaiserstrasse 46, not very far (350 meters) from Ainmillerstrasse 36 (one of Kandinsky’s future apartments) .
>A group of communists and anarchists declared the Bavarian Soviet Republic on 6 April 1919, forcing the government of the existing People’s State of Bavaria to flee to Bamberg in northern Bavaria.[2] The members of the new government, led by playwright Ernst Toller, had no political or administrative experience,[3] and after just six days in power they were ousted in a putsch organized by the Communist Party of Germany (KPD).
So Bavaria was ruled by some communists, which were then ousted by some communists, who then were putsched by some communists.
You had me at “Bavarian” .
Brother this got nothing on the 90s Yugoslavia.
