Turkey(iye) shot down russian aircraft with no warning, apology, or recompense, so why can’t Poland? Or is this another posturing event where there is no clear evidence on either side to prevent “OPSEC?”
European countries, *as a whole, must* care about airspace and security. Given the US foreign policy for the foreseeable future, its more important than ever.
Why was a foreign aircraft, from a country which has officials describing Europe, including and especially Poland, as a state enemy, allowed to fly over Polish/EU/NATO territory? Or is there money to be made on clickbait and division? **The answer is that the helicopter probably cut a corner over the baltic sea**, and it looks much better to phrase it as true land incursion.

Russia is always testing, how far they can go. A month ago, the german Luftwaffe intercepted a Russian spy plane east of the island of Rügen and escorted it back out of Nato airspace.

Russia tested Turkey precisely once. Because that once resulted in being shot down. If any Russian military aircraft crosses any amount into EU airspace, it should be shot down, even if it’s flown back into Russian airspace straight away.

Guess what Czechoslovakia, Finland, Georgia, Ukraine, Poland and Hungary have in common.
They have all been invaded by Russia in the past century.
Russia has always been an aggressor. It is always pushing. When it reaches a boundary/border, it continues to push.
