**Some people have identified my previous image to be AI generated and after investigating, this was indeed correct. It was an error on my behalf and I apologise as this should not have gotten past me. This is now the correct image.**
Sister Geneviève Jeanningros, a French-Argentine nun from the Little Sisters of Jesus, became widely known recently because during the funeral events for Pope Francis she — despite strict Vatican protocols — was allowed to personally approach his coffin and say a private, emotional farewell. This was an unusual gesture because normally, such close access is highly restricted, even for clergy. It shows how deeply Pope Francis valued her friendship and her lifelong work with marginalized communities like circus workers, Roma people, and transgender individuals in Italy.
thank you for re-uploading! with the fame your post got, many would just not care 🙂
So many men, So few women.
You failed, Francisco. Nothing much changed…
And you deleted the old post. It’s nice to see so much humility and integrity. Very rare traits these days. You’re a good egg OP.

Thank you for deleting the original post, I thought it was real at first! Sadly I think that image is still being circulated.
So many do not know what the Pope was really all about…
Why a fake AI photo is spreading like that? Because it shows more tears than the true one? Internet never ceases to surprise (and horrify) me.
her feet look photoshopped to the floor.
Now I have a few questions about the state of the internet. Why was an AI picture getting shared around when the real one is publicly available. Where did it come from. Who made it and why.
The other image being AI is bonkers. Wasn’t it at almost 100k upvotes on r/pics?
