      Unbelivable…

      section:

The ability to get points for killing enemy troops is also spurring competition among units; so far about 90 percent of the army’s drone units have scored points. In fact, they are logging so many hits that the government has had to revamp the logistics of drone deliveries to get more of them to points-heavy units.

“They started killing so quickly that Ukraine does not have time to deliver new drones,” Fedorov said.

Competition and keeping score has always existed, way before videogames. Perhaps not always as openly and as a system as it’s happening now though.

Is there a battlepass? It’ll just turn P2W soon, always does.

      >A Vampire drone, for example, costs 43 points. (a large multi-rotor drone able to carry a 15-kilogram warhead)

OP! too cheap for such a strong drone, everyone just rushes this early game. Needs to be rebalanced.

What a strange world we live in.

Every side uses all options to win any slight advantage over the other, there should be ethival talk over this of course, but thai point system is as harmless as it gets.

On the other side they shoot you if you retreat, they conscript over proportional ethnic minorities, torture their POWs ans train ukrainian children to fight their brothers.

The saddest part is that this is born out of lack of equipment and commenters don’t seem to get it.

How about letting people/corporations sponsor/adopt a drone. Pay $X and you get to watch it in action (once it is not in the defensive location).
Give awards to the payee for the kills their drone gets.
      Brigade Patch for 1 Orc
      Shirt for vehicle with troops
Jacket for air defence equip/fuel depot
      Plaque for General Staff.
