Dude genuinely believes this as well.
Just like he legitimately believed that guy had MS13 tattooed on his fingers when it was a flagrantly obvious edit.
Evidence and reality do not matter to Trump. Whatever the tv box says, he believes.
Why not just let him take all of Ukraine and say it’s a concession not to take the next country.
Worked great in WW II after all.
