It has been noted since Hanna Arendt that fascists are never reliable nationalists. They will gladly betray their own country.
That is because the individual operators in fascist movements suffer from deep personal selfishness. It’s just a collection of egoists out for self-gain at everyone else’s expense.
What a shocker Germany can still weaponize its government. I’ll wait for the proof and not jump the suspicious bandwagon.
