I think its good that they have the ability to test these things, if you’re going to have rules you need a realistic way to enforce those rules or they’re meaningless.

That said, the main issue with these vehicles is when they’re obviously being ridden/driven dangerously. Delivery lads powering through red lads, yup bros doing wheelies against traffic etc. Often offences that more clearly come under reckless/careless/dangerous type offences than merely violating the power restrictions.

What the actual fuck. How does this make sense. It’s like being charged for speeding because your car is capable of breaking the speed limit.

    3. Its just going to be some yup bro on community service going, that’s rapid. Or, that’s not rapid.

This is honestly amazing and about time, too.

Got a concern though, wouldn’t the results be inconsistent given that the weight of the rider would alter the overall performance?

What is the point. How will they enforce this or stop the people.

Visions of a guard zooming up a street testing the top speed of sum yup bro’s scooter while his partner looks on jealously.

“Seamus she’s some yoke to go!!!”

      10 years late.

(A bit like the so-called response to the housing crisis).

Not being smart but the nuisance ones will be up the nearest lane way or footpath before stopping for a speed test

They’ll likely get around this as a lot of scooters have options to limit max speeds via their respective apps

It will be the legitimate hard working scooter and ebike owners on their way to work that will get it in the arse. The thugs will get away with it as usual.
      Fuck this country.
