I’m very confused-what are you trying to say?

If a private service provider is not what you want, just choose another one. That’s it.

I’d assume there’s anesthetic or something, but this gave me a bit of a giggle. You scared? Pay extra you wuss!

The “fear” option is more expensive because it takes longer. It goes by the “worst case scenario” timing, so…

      You pay for the time.

Oh no I can’t believe I have to pay a monthly electricity bill twice as big as other people do only because I have nyctophobia and have to sleep at night with lights and a kitchen oven turned on. This economy sucks. Inequality sucks.

Probably they make longer appointment, if you book that phobia option.

To be fair they take so long.

It’s just like needle fear, an injection should take 5 minutes at most; most of which is getting data ready, and undressing, but people with needle fear can take up to 30 minutes.

So, most likely price is double because you get double the time, they allocate more time.

It’s only about one and a half times as much. The Kela reimbursement is a set 30€ and not a % of the price. They also reserve about one and a half times as much time and the dentists doing those checkups have gone through a special training.

So, yeah, more time and specialized knowledge costs more.
