have you looked behind the couch? maybe it fell of the wall.
Do you have some background (for example, a photo of the verso), painter, date? It‘s possible it‘s a real location, but it‘s also possible it‘s (partially) fiction, as it‘s a bit of a stereotypical Alpine landscape.

You could start searching for painters like Albert Gos, but in the end, this style of painting is super popular in the ending 19th century and beginning of 20th century.
