I feel that if Kamala had won, Putin would not feel as emboldened. Biden would definitely have responded militarily if Russia used a Nuclear weapon, most likely using a non-nuclear option. At best, Trump would issue a tweet telling Putin to stop.

It both pisses me off, and confuses me that Russia has been doing these very obvious fake threats, and the rest of the world acts like they actually going to do anything. I am sorry ukraine. The rest of the world has let you down, and continues to do so.

Both putin and Zelensky know that the instant russia launch a nuke, it’s lost the war. Aside from the fact that it’s the only big leverage it’s got left, we don’t even know if the nukes in storage still work, and it’s a dodgy way to find out, launch and cross fingers.
All diplomatic avenues would be lost to russia instantly, and Ukraine and its defence against russian invasion would be top priority of all western nations.
So really they’re just talking to their own troops and citizens rather than actually threatening anyone
