What is the archaeological or linguistic evidence linking the Trojans to ancient Georgian peoples? Colchians and Iberians etc.
There are supposedly and arguably similarities between Hattic and both Abkhazo-Adyghean and Kartvelian languages, which from what I understand would suggest a gradient of Indo-European Anatolian languages (Hittite) in the center west of Anatolia, to something more similar to supposed proto-Kartvelian with the center east Hattic and maybe Hurrian.
That being said Troy from what I understand was on the far west Mediterranean bank of Anatolia so that would be far from Hattians and Hurrians who might have more of a crossover with the Caucasus.
Maybe someone much more knowledgeable will answer.
