      Utterly, colossally stupid yet here we are again, the media reporting it like it’s serious – or possible. The President of the US the stupidest man in the room, but its all treated like gold.

      This one is weird given how much of a single blockbuster could be made in another country either from shooting on location to the outsourcing of CGI or other work. A lot of (smaller) US movies also rely on tax breaks given to them by the country/state where they are filming for a project to be viable in the first place.

      Dumb fuck is just reacting to the downturn in Hollywood. Plenty of other US states like Georgia and New Mexico are flourishing.

      Hollywood isn’t financially competitive. They need to sort their incentives.

      Hopefully he’s too thick to realise that most of the US productions in Ireland are TV shows for streamers.

      How do you tariff a movie? Where does the cost start? At the cinema tickets or for the rights to screen it?
