      I park with the car adjacent to a house wall , the birds perch on the gutter and poo plus they “clean” the gutter on to my car. It’s a mix of white blotches and black moss.

      I stayed at my dad’s the other night and I leaned out the window to smoke a sneaky lil spliff before bed, like whole top half of my body out the window so he wouldn’t smell it (don’t judge me), elbows on the windowsill outside and noticed that this windowsill isn’t meant to be white at all. If you know what I mean. Fuckin mank.

      I wonder if this is indicative of a notable increase in the bird population, and if so, what that’s indicative of? An increase in their food supply such as bugs or rodents? A decrease in their predators? Is the hotter weather causing migratory birds to come here sooner? Or to prefer Ireland to hotter places on the continent?

      I sanded, oiled and weatherproofed my patio set on Wednesday and Thursday, Friday morning it was covered in bird poop.

      I had to wash, sand and re-oil all over again.

      Suppose it kept me out in the sunshine and i got done vitamin D.
