It’s not the size, it is how you use the aircraft carrier.
The budget is planned for it so yeah it will happen, but 3 EMALS would be really great, i’m not sure how they would put it but depending of we could have like 2 for Rafale/SCAF and 1 for drone.
We already have the largest nuclear aircraft carrier in Europe, also the only one. Not sure how this is news, we really need a second one though.
Isn’t three the minimum for operational readiness? Why are we so bad at this stuff in Europe.
The EU needs to dive in and pay for the others, making them European, rather than French carriers. Having a continually at sea European Defence Force CSG seems like an achievable goal that people can really rally behind.
