      Part of me is like “that’s outrageous!” But maybe it’s more encouraging for the use of reusable bags? One things for sure though, they’re not worth the 15c, they fall apart at the mere thought of rain

      ngl be thankful they still do paper bags cause places like EuroGiant discontinued them years ago hell when i worked there i noticed there was a huge stack of them in the backroom and i asked my Manager curious about it and she said oh yea we got sick of dealing with them so we stopped handing them out and never told the suppliers we ran out LOL

      now there’s a main reason why they did this because the quality of those bags if anyone remembers were fucking shite if you put anything more then 3 items in it the bag would rip and too many people would go nuts screaming about it what you can do is buy a bag for 70 cents at the very least that bag will ensure your shit doesn’t fall on the ground before you make it home

      I have PTSD from paper Penneys bags.

      The amount of times I’ve been walking over O’Connell Bridge in a sunshower and seeing the bag just melt away, and seeing my new jocks and socks picking up bits of silty dirt on the wet ground and the panic of trying to get a whole Penneys haul into the little thin wedge of space that remains from a shoebox in a real paper bag.

      I don’t think I’ve ever had one not break, so I always try to bring my own bag anyway. Maybe I’d pay if they weren’t made from cotton candy

      Hopefully that will make people think twice about making unnecessary purchases that will end up in landfill.

      Would be nice if all profits from bag sales were being used to find a solution to the fast fashion epidemic plaguing the like of Ghana
