    1. These dumb kids don’t even realize how comfortable they are being treated for a detainee

Frankly, it doesn’t seem like they are horribly oppressed

Nice job Europe. You guys are really showing how much you care about your European values. These kids were arrested because they tried to defend democracy against the oppressing government. 1 comment about how its not Turkey not Turkiye(lmao). 3 comments about how easy they are getting and 2 defending the government saying they should leave them. Democracy for me but not for thee. Disgusting.

There are fewer people I sympathise with more than women in Islamic countries. Pure oppression they face every day.

Three comments actually downright supporting ErdoÄŸan, three comments making cheap jokes about the situation, one comment about whether Turkey is Europe or not and one comment about what Turkey’s name is.

Shame on you, Europe, shame on you. I still hope you never go through what we’re going through. I hope you always maintain your democracy, despite everyone trying to subvert it.

Sometimes I can’t say if r/Europe has been overrun by spoiled envious brats, sociopaths or pure racists…

So much hate and resent, why? Why?

My full support for all the Democracy Fighters in Turkey, I hope these protesters are freed soon, unharmed, and that they achieve freedom of speech, protest and to vote in the candidates that they want.

Thank you so much for fighting, with all the consequences, to bring another country to democracy.

We, Europeans, already have too many autocracies to deal with, so any help reducing them should be recognized.
