While much of the focus has been on the US facilitating the Gaza genocide, we need to be honest about the EU’s role too.
From Germany being their second-largest arms supplier to Ursula von der Leyen visiting Israel (and parroting their lines) to the total lack of EU sanctions.
Let’s stop pretending the EU is doing anything meaningful other than being silently complicit.
This isn’t the first time an unelected technocrat has gone on a solo run. Giving us accidental peeks at what those who run the EU want it to turn into. This is very much a case of the tail wagging the dog.
