The Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) is a political and economic union established to foster closer economic ties among member countries, through the free movement of goods, services, capital, and labor, and the implementation of coordinated policies in various sectors, including energy, industry, agriculture, and transport.

As of now, the member countries of the Eurasian Economic Union are Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Russia. Each of these countries contributes to and benefits from shared economic policies and a unified regulatory framework designed to streamline cross-border transactions and bolster economic stability across the region.

It’s important to note that Azerbaijan is not a part of the Eurasian Economic Union and has no plans to join. The country has pursued its own path in terms of economic and political alliances, maintaining a more independent stance in its foreign and economic policies.
