Everything is vegetarian, from the Mensa Buffet. Small Plate.
There are also fixed menu options, ranging up to about 11 CHF.

What would be the cheapest option and what does it contain?

This looks like about 4 different cuisines you wouldn’t want to eat in the first place shoved together.

How do people eat this much in one sitting? What happens afterwards? Do you just die?

This meal crossed out all my fantasies about fixing food.

I find it amazing how food is better, in bigger quantity and simultaneously cheaper in a rich country, while here in Portugal you’d get charged AT LEAST 10-12€ for that.

Looks great, I’d definitely have that!

Except for the white creamy stuff, this dish is so colourful and very likely very rich in flavour and nutrients. I don’t get those comments criticizing it.

Question: is that a cous cous salad on the left part of the dish?

    9. I paid 7 CHF for a bottle of water at a restaurant in switzerland

Remember these pictures where you have to name one thing and the longer you look at it the more confusing it gets? I get the same feeling when I look at this plate.

In Finland, students get meals at university cafeterias for about €2.95. The meals are subsidised.

My afternoon would be quite unproductive after that lunch.

    17. Wtf, I’m living in Switzerland and that looks twice as good as anything you can get here

My god the food is horrible and overpriced

I once sneezed in Switzerland and it cost me 7,20 CHF. So, it seems like a great deal to me.

You need to make a postgraduate in architecture to build that plate

    20. Wtf, chf is worth more than eur ? When EUR was created, it was 0.6 eur to a chf. Seems like 2008 and 2020 crises hit hard, but Switzerland was saved.

7.70 CHF ?? I paid that kind of money years ago for plastic wrapped sandwich at the supermarket.

If there is one thing that EU universities get right it is the onsite canteen/cafeteria

Good to see another European country with high food prices (even at uni), from a Norwegian. (:
