email and company are for real, they are asking questions. If it would be automated they would not ask for relocation. your application was probably so basic and interchangeable that they are unsure you know where you are applying to. they are looking for people and they are hoping they are more than just the 100th company you applied to and you are actually willing to put some effort into the application. For example look up the company, see what they are doing and tell them why you might be interested in being part of their team.
