Does it make more money from Russia than from its other markets?
I doubt it and it should be reminded of such when it makes these decisions. And whilst it was local it’s not distanced itself from that ‘local’ so it’s still an arm attached to the body. By choice.

Do they send them animal food and is that preferable to the muck that the Russian army usually feeds them?

What penalties will they face?

Nothing is going to happen, but fuck these guys. They’re already funding agro lobbyists and now this shit.
I read that they say it’s “complex” to leave Russia. The same way it took Heineken 1,5 years.

Why don’t all Putin lovers just move to Russia?

Should spend couple years in prison as treason. Would make companies think twice about doing that.

Not surprised at all. These companies have been in bed with the far right for a long time, and the far right is firmly in Russia’s grip. The most worrying part about this is that they also control a significant number of seats in parliament and are part of the ruling coalition.

Just your friendly daily reminder that oligarchs are everywhere, not just Russia

As I read from the article, De Heus has a partner company in Russia, where it owns a smaller part (the main part is owned by the Russian owner).
Probably, De Heus really does not know all the activities.
But it would be fair that after everyone found out about the support of the partner company of the Russian military, on behalf of De Heus, make a significant contribution (more than ten times) to help the Ukrainians.
This will help Ukraine much more than just words of sympathy.

Just the other day it was officially concluded, that specifically Russia will be held responsible for shooting down civilian plane MH17 over Ukraine in 2014. Almost 200 dutch citizens out of 300 people on board. No survivors.
