      Great news!

The stories running up were heartbreaking, loved ones slowly and painfully dying, unable to get a release

While the religious fanatics were sky man has a plan, and his plan is for your loved ones to suffer

Considering the lifespan up here I wasn’t sure it was necessary but it all helps I suppose.

    3. Is the Scottish government putting through an assisted dying bill at the same time as Westminster?

If you are against this bill then feel free to live your last months in agonizing pain getting eaten alive by the cancer that has riddled your entire body (my grandfather) or locked in your own body unable to see, hear, speak, move or swallow (my paternal aunt with PPMS). For the rest of us? I’d rather check out of the nightmare pain free and with dignity thanks. Don’t see why it’s anyone else’s business. No amount of “my God says” or “support” is going to help anyone in that situation.

The bill is for terminally ill conditions and sound of mind, so why does it send a bad message out to disabled people.

Disabled doesn’t mean terminally ill so what am I missing?

Excellent. Both because this will be good for the people of Scotland, some of whom will now be able to choose to die with dignity rather than being kept alive through pain and degrading illness, and because it makes it more likely that the E+W equivalent will also pass as there’ll be a precedent within the UK.

After seeing the agony my once proud grandmother was in when she had stage 4 cancer, I can only support this bill. If it happened to me and the bill hadn’t passed, I would check myself out.

For all those saying ‘my religion this, my religion that’ – ok, cool, don’t utilise it then. Your religion doesn’t give any right to strip options or choices away from me.
