What else u expect them to do
Ya I heard it. I’m with the Gardaí on this one.
Does anyone know the story with the motorcyclist? Will he pull through?
Don’t even need to have seen any to be pretty confident I know what’s being said or blamed
Probably the same kind of pathetic mouth-breathers that filmed a man drowning on their phones instead of trying to help.
The third paragraph in this article states “It is believed he was attempting to stop the motorcyclist when the collision happened.”
Is this the completely inaccurate information they’re referring to? Or are people trying to say something else happened?
Why is it always the howyas spreading the misinformation?
His poor family and colleagues having to put up with that. I’m so thankful I haven’t seen any of it.
I’m amazed at the Gardaí having to “hit out” at it, why aren’t they allowed to just stop it? Why aren’t the Gardaí or Comisiún na Méan just given the power to take down something that’s obviously false? The poor man hasn’t been laid to rest yet and the investigation has only started so anything online about it is obviously false. Why do the social media companies have everyone over a misinformation barrel?
There needs to be a whole new branch created to fight and punish misinformation. People and countries are purposely being manipulative to cause unrest and damage to Irish society.
It’s only going to get worse as people use a pattern of misinformation to shape their worldview and justify violence.
While I support the Gardai fully, there are complete radio silence regarding this bizarre incident has only just fuelled the inevitable rumour mill.
Why is it protocol to try and stop a speeding motorbike using a human?
What is the situation with the motorcyclist?
Why have no further details being given?
While I understand there is a need to protect the privacy of those involved, a story of this magnitude cannot just be ignored until every I is dotted and T is crossed.
Pity Garda wouldn’t be so active about social media when it comes to lies about the many innocent persons, only when it’s one of their own.
Remember many cases of Garda sharing inappropriate videos of persons that went on to harm themselves
