While blindly following their path? Nice one Keith.

He’s not wrong. Reform are the threat, Tories are dying.
Quite frankly, this proves the effectiveness of Russian influence in our politics. Reform are just a more corrupt, further right and more pro-Russian version of the Tories. They’re winning so heavily because they can exploit fear about immigration in the rural white counties, and can promise better things to urban counties that have been left behind – though we all know they won’t deliver.
In modern politics, what matters is who can control the narrative. This is done by flooding social media and manipulating media companies into supporting your version of events: so the people with the most resources control the narrative. The narrative currently is that immigration, instead of privatisation, Brexit and corruption, is ruining the country. This narrative is the one Reform wants.

They(reform)ed in 1834 into the Conservatives. It can happen again. I can see Farage leading this new party sadly.

Labour not far behind thanks to him lol. Labour have practically been run over crippled and waiting for a zombie to pass by.

I was listening to Jenrick complaining (with a completely straight face) about the levels of immigration over the last ten years and saying only the Tories could fix the problem. Just let that sink in.

They might be a dead party, but I fear for what will ultimately replace them

I hope its true , the only reason the Conservatives have remained relevant in the last few decades is because there has been no other conservative option. They represent the upper and middle classes. At least Reform is more grassroots and its base it more working class

People forget how quickly things change in politics now. In 2020 the Tories were polling over 50%. In 2022 Labour polled over 50%. Both parties are now around 20%. This is like the third time in the past 10 years the tories have been branded ‘dead’.

Labour walking into the same trap conservatives did. Pandering to reform. They will never be happy with results, so they will never vote Labour. But labour as the tories did are alienating their more traditional voter base.

its the first bit of truth he’s said since becoming PM – hopefully telling the truth becomes a habit!

Yeah, I am a pretty natural Tory voter. Cameron was the last good Tory PM. I couldn’t bring myself to support the current party. I don’t love Labour but Starmer is an adult and making on the whole good decisions. Reform are crazy people.
