“If Ukraine sacrifices Crimea in return for promises of peace, it will set a precedent for further conflict, and split the country.” Volodymyr Dubovyk argues that Ukraine’s potential concession of Crimea to Russia in exchange for peace could set a dangerous precedent, undermining its territorial integrity and sovereignty. Dubovyk highlights the challenges in negotiations, stressing that yielding territory could embolden further Russian aggression and weaken Ukraine’s political standing domestically and internationally. Ultimately, ceding Crimea would likely not lead to broader peace and could destabilize the region further.

Make it like Hong Kong. You get it until 2050 and then hand it back on December 31st, and remove the bridge and no troops or armored vehicles are allowed.

Russia should give up Crimea and all occupied territories and go home
Ukraine appears to be wiping out Air Defence in Crimea pretty often, surely that means Russian Soldiers and their equipment don’t have many places where they’re truly safe from drone or missile strikes
If Ukraine were to take out the bridge would it actually have any benefit to Russia to keep hold of it other than symbolism? If they are moving Air Defence from elsewhere to make up for what’s lost in Crimea then surely that makes Crimea a drain in some aspects

Ukraine doesn’t need to give Russia anything. Just keep grinding them down with Western support until Russia simply can’t keep going anymore, economically, militarily or politically.
Russia is going to have to pull off an enormous political feat to come out of this war with anything that they didn’t have already. They’ll need to buy off and corrupt enough Western politicians to stop the aid flowing, that’s really their only hope. Unfortunately, they have made good progress on this in the US.

Russia needs to go home, this is the kid that keeps wanting to fight your kid and keeps getting beat up on the lawn. Go home Russia, you lost and are losing and the whole world knows it. Ukraine doesnโt want to but is willing to kill all Russian men that can be conscripted.

U can try and not favoring Russia but i see Russia collapsing faster than Ukraine taking Crimea.

Take another chunk of Russia which they cannot seize back and tell them they can have all their shitty land back if they fuck off back to Moscow and return what is rightfully Ukraine’s. There is no deal to be made with these MFs. Anything they agree to they will just violate when it suits them. Its what they do.
