Dopo aver vissuto a Kuopio per un po ‘di tempo, io e mio marito abbiamo finalmente deciso di celebrare il nostro anniversario al ristorante rotante Puijo Tower. Avevo salvato questa esperienza per un’occasione speciale e volevo condividere alcune intuizioni che potevano aiutare gli altri a considerare una visita.
Alcuni punti salienti della nostra esperienza:
- Il ristorante completa una rotazione completa in circa 60 minuti, dando una vista a 360 ° sull’incredibile paesaggio del lago di Kuopio (anche se si avverte se sei sensibile al movimento!)
- L’ammissione alla torre è inclusa nella prenotazione del tuo ristorante, salvandoti il biglietto per il ponte di osservazione separato
- Fine settimana "Delizie locali" buffet (29 €) è dotato di specialità regionali: il pâté di funghi è stato fantastico
- Il menu di tre portate (49 €) include il buffet più un principale e un dessert
- Il mazzo di osservazione si chiude alle 18:00, quindi vai lì prima se hai una prenotazione serale
Vale il prezzo?
Sì, lo è assolutamente. Nonostante il prezzo sia nella fascia più alta, le viste mozzafiato, la qualità del cibo e l’esperienza culinaria unica ne valgono la pena, soprattutto per le celebrazioni speciali!
Per arrivarci: le linee degli autobus 5, 6, 7 e 9 vanno tutti a "PUIJO sedia ascensore p" Stop (6 minuti a piedi dalla torre) o sono circa 10-15 minuti in auto dal centro città con parcheggio gratuito disponibile.
Se sei sensibile al movimento come me, potresti voler considerare invece il caffè non rotante al quarto piano, che offre viste simili senza il movimento.

My Experience at Puijo Tower Restaurant in Kuopio – Worth it for an Anniversary?

I haven’t been in the rotating restaurant but been in the tower three times, during different times of the year. The view is amazing and I would recommend the Pujio Tower to anyone that visits Kuopio.

Kuopio native here. Considering you need to drive up to Puijo, you would get extremely sick in the car already with that sensitivity.
As added bonus though: On other side of Puijo there are locally well known stairs that people use to exercise. The stairs are quite challenging physically for beginners as the climb is steep.
I didn’t really see a proper answer to your question in the headline. Is it worth it?
Never even thought about going to eat there but now i’m thinking about it..

I’ve had a great experience both times we visited for dinner/celebration. Recommended 👍
Warning, don’t leave anything (E.g., purse) on the window ledge as the floor rotates separate from the walls and your possessions will come back to meet you after an hour (hopefully 😁). This is different from the tower in Tampere where the floor and walls rotate together.
Tower restaurant is great and also Puijon Maja at the base of tower has great lunch.
