This list should make all political class in Rome to be ashamed

I love that while most companies on the list are either in technology or fashion so is Belgium’s only contribution to the list beer. That’s a country with the right priorities, I applaud it

Economic fact.
It’s not the the number of massive companies that is important for prosperity, but the ability of small and medium businesses relevant to our need to grow.

The only one founded in europe in the 2000’s is spotify.
Same list in the US or china would be like 50-50.
Correction: you need to go to since 1990 to get roughly half of us top 20’s. This still doesnt add any more companies to europe’s tally beyond Spotify.

Ohh, I actually had no idea Spotify was European / Swedish. I’ve always thought it was American for some reason. Way to go! I mean considering how mucht the Swedes seem to care about Eurovision, I guess I shouldn’t be that surprised. 😀

Oh, the famous European company Accenture. No, seriously, the fact that they are avoiding taxes using Irish shore does not make them Irish. Nor them, nor Apple, nor Facebook.

What surprises me is that the market cap of Spotify is almost that of Mercedes, BMW and VW combined?!

I hope luxotica goes bankrupt. One of the worst bully companies I know of. It’s one of the companies I’ll never ever deal with, based on their business practices alone. I’ll make my own coke bottle glasses if I have to.

This is EU rather than Europe. The UK would have 4 companies on this list (astrazeneca, HSBC, shell, Unilever) and id expect Switzerland would have at least a few too.

Why is Deutsche Telekom so huge ?
They should be commonly owned.
The most important thing, is that Sweden is where they belong; lower than Denmark.
Geez what happened to Novo Nordisk? A year ago it was by far the largest.
