Putin is physically incapable of facing Zelensky directly.
Worlds Most Wanted
The million dollar question now is how will Trump react to the news. Hopefully (and based on recent indications to that effect ) he takes Putin ”snubbing” his offer to come and negotiate as a personal slight and reacts accordingly.
While it’s Trump that has no moral compass to speak of he also has a huge ego that doesn’t react well to being ignored and that may well result in tightened sanctions on Russia and more military aid to Ukraine.
Assuming that’s what ends up happening it would be one of the best acts of diplomacy from Zelensky throughout this war and something that will remain in history.
His doctors are concerned of how he would fare with travel and prolonged sitting. The Kremlin is trying to send Trump to attend as the diaper smell is known to distract.
