Note that there is an european initiative with at least UK, Germany, Sweden, Poland, Italy and France which aims to do the same thing ELSA………..
1000km to 2000km from what i can read too.
That is what for example turgis and gaillard is competing (outside of the official competition made by the DGA) with their MLRS foudre or Safran with MBDA and Thales with Arianegroup for the missiles / MLRS which both group are part of the competition made by the DGA.
Edit : it may still be part of ELSA but the source is just a tweet so who knows.

It’s one of the crucial gaps in Europe’s arsenal that needs to be filled.
I know about the ELSA (European Long-Range Strike Approach) initiative that the UK actually joined last year (Germany, France, Italy, Poland, Sweden, the Netherlands and the UK), but that one is about developing cruise missiles with a range of 1,000-2,000 km.
I also know for a fact that Germany is very interested in missiles exceeding 2,000km, so this must be something else.
Either way, good to see more cooperation in Europe to fill these gaps.

This should be a response to Russian’s Oreshnik (IRBM) that was lauched in november last year. This also has capacity to travel from 1000km to 5500 km

Maybe they can work on an ultra long range EV next as 475km isn’t enough for me
