What have we become when animal torture is a thing?

If they’re proven guilty of animal cruelty, then they’re scum. Nothing more nothing less, just scum.
Vile. If it’s true I hope they get a long sentence. Too often teenagers have done horrific things where the judge says “if you’d have been an adult this would have been very serious!” and I don’t get it, they knew right from wrong, they’re not completely stupid, why does their age change stuff?
*Every. single. day* there’s a new sign that the world is ***truly*** not worth sticking around for. Humans are fucking DISGUSTING.
The day I exit this cesspool of planet/existence can’t come soon enough…
