Just putting this here: Слава Україні. The UK stands with Ukraine regardless of some random.

You don’t need a tinfoil hat. A few days ago, three Russian assets that happened to be Ukrainian were arrested for planning arson attacks on the mail system.

    3. As far as I can see, there are obviously some separatists, Russian speaking ?, Ukrainians who support Russia and presumably it’s easier for them to enter the UK than someone from Russia. But its perhaps more likely to be someone acting for themselves than directed by the Russian government. I guess we will see in the investigation. If it did turn out to lead back to Russian ‘intelligence’ then i can’t see us doing more than we are already doing other than finding a few more sanctions.

It looks like a russian asset, or maybe the person desperate for money.

You can see the number of Ukrainians charged for arsons when they burn the military cars (usually the cars that other Ukrainians donated for), just for a promise of money. These guys live in Ukraine, they know that russians want to kill them all,  they know that Ukrainian army is the only thing standing between them and russian murder rapists – and they still agree to burn the car that other Ukrainians crowdfunded money for.

There will always be useful idiots. The punishment should be swift.

There is a pattern of Russian intelligence coercing / bribing / influencing particularly young Ukrainians online to carry out these kinds of acts. It happened in Ukraine and Germany recently,.I expect this is a similar operation.

Stupid fuck, there’re plenty of them here. They got recruited by FSB to do some dirty work. Hope he will be extradited back to Ukraine

I said to my wife this one smells like a russian operation. I mean, even firebombing an old house that Starmer hasn’t lived at for years….it’s typical ruzzian MO and trying to blame Ukr. Same as they did with the burning of the qu’ran in Denmark/Sweden….Typical, very obvious RuZZian operation

Just for a moment consider the mental state of all the Ukranians affected by this aggression.

My first thought: There are a lot of Ukrainian citizens (many in name only) who’ve been living in occupied territories under Russian influence for over 10 years. If they didn’t throw away their Ukrainian passport, they have the same rights as any other refugee or migrant from UA, and there’s no doubt Russia exploits this to the max.

But also, there’s a constant campaign to recruit teens and other vulnerable/disloyal people in Ukraine itself, through telegram, to spy, do arson and other more severe terrorist acts.

It’s nothing new, regular KGB tactics / online recruitment. I wish we could at least ban telegram and tiktok, as they are the biggest sources of propaganda and brainwashing. But right now I don’t have hope.

It’s perfect for Russia to try to get Ukrainians to do their dirty sabotage work.

Punishment for country men that do work for the enemy during a time of war should be treason. Should be extradited to Ukraine to be dealt with.
