The man who funds the ditch admitted to using an Israeli digital forensics firm to spy on Irish citizens he didn’t like and their founder was just kicked out of Romania because he was trying to undermine their presidential election on behalf of Russia. That same founder has, since Ireland recognised Palestine, been extremely critical of the Irish people’s activism for Palestine.

The Ditch don’t care about the Palestinian people. They just want to undermine liberal democracy.

The media commission should absolutely disclose any dealings it had with this person. This person shouldn’t be allowed in Ireland and definitely shouldn’t be meeting with the media commission.

But we also shouldn’t have an outlet backed exclusively with Walter Mitty characters being able to attack the commission that was set up to regulate them.
